Open-source token · Base mainnet

Minted once.
Verifiable forever.

SourceMint (SRCMNT) is a fixed-supply ERC-20 whose entire history fits on one page: a single mint, no owner functions, verified source code, and a treasury documented in the open.

Purpose

Why this token exists

SourceMint pairs a deliberately minimal token with a fully documented path to producing one. The contract does less on purpose; the repository shows everything.

A reference deployment

A complete, reproducible route from Foundry project to verified mainnet contract: tests, gas snapshots, CI, deployment scripts, and recorded artifacts.

A contributor reward unit

SRCMNT is the planned reward for contributions to the SourceMint tooling — documentation, test coverage, deployment improvements — paid from a documented rewards wallet.

Trust-minimized by design

No owner, no admin, no pause, no fees, no minting after deployment. Supply can only shrink, and only when a holder chooses to burn.

Roadmap

What happens next

Q3 2026

Publish contributor reward guidelines; begin distributing SRCMNT from the rewards wallet to early contributors.

Q4 2026

Open reward-allocation discussion on GitHub; publish periodic treasury reports on this page.

2027

Evaluate liquidity provisioning and further tooling — airdrop scripts, permit-based reward claims — based on community interest.

Progress is tracked in GitHub Issues and Discussions.
